Date:- 15th November, 2016 P.C.:
The petitioner by this petition seeks a writ of mandamus against respondent No.1 directing it to take action against the construction carried out by respondent No.2, alleging that the same is unauthorised. He along with other villagers had, by the letter dated 3rd May, 2016, complained to respondent No.1 and other authorities of the illegal construction. It is a grievance of the petitioner that the complaint has not been attended to by respondent No.1.
2. Mr. P.A. Kamat, learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner states that he is restricting relief in the present petition to direction to respondent No.1 to decide the petitioner's complaint expeditiously. Ms. Razaq, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondent No.1 makes a statement that the complaint of respondent No.2 would be decided by respondent No.1 within a
WP/671/2016 period of three months from today. The statement is accepted. In view of the statement, nothing survives in the petition for consideration of the Court. The same is accordingly disposed off. C. V. BHADANG, J.
