Shri Chodankar, Central Government Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, wants the petitioner to appear before the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO), Mumbai, so that the FRRO is in a position to process the request made by the petitioner in this petition expeditiously.

2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions of the petitioner who is present in the Court, makes a statement that the petitioner shall remain present before the FRRO on 19.09.2024 during the working hours between 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. along with the necessary documents.

3. In case the FRRO expects any further documents from the petitioner, Mr. Chodankar submits that during the course of the day, he would obtain instructions from the FRRO and inform the petitioner's Advocate if any specific documents are required by the FRRO. Shri Chodankar assures that the application will be processed as expeditiously as possible in view of the earlier order passed by this Court and in any case within a period of two weeks from 19.09.2024.

4. In view of the above, the petition is disposed of. No costs.
