After hearing the matter for some time, learned Senior Counsel Shri Lotlikar would submit that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the applications filed under Section 14 dated 24.07.2020 and 19.11.2020 before the concerned Authority and will file a comprehensive application under Section 14 of the Land Revenue Code within one month from today by joining the necessary parties 19th January, 2024

WP 602 of 2023 including CSIR.

2. Learned Advocate General would submit that even the proceedings for demarcation under Section 65 of the Land Revenue Code vide Case No.Chalta No.1(Part) of P.T.Sheet No.184 of Panaji City pending before the Inspector of Survey And Land Records, initiated by the Government, are still pending wherein the issue of demarcation of the land is required to be decided.

3. We direct the said Authority to decide the issue of demarcation within three months. It is needless to say that such a decision shall be passed only after hearing the concerned parties which includes CSIR under which NIO operates. The applications which the petitioner is going to file under Section 14 of the Land Revenue Code before the concerned Authority shall be disposed of within one year from the date of such filing.

4. With the above observations and the directions, the present Petition stands disposed of.

5. It is made clear that all issues of all the parties are kept open. VALMIKI SA MENEZES, J.
