The applicant has been convicted for the offences punishable under Sections 279, 337 and 338 of Indian Penal Code (IPC, for short).

2. Under Section 279, he has been sentenced to undergo Simple Imprisonment for one month and to pay fine of Rs.1,000/-, while under Section 337, he has been sentenced to undergo Simple Imprisonment for one month and to pay fine of Rs.500/- and under Section 338, he has been sentenced to undergo Simple Imprisonment for three months and to pay fine of Rs.1,000/-.

3. During the course of trial before the learned Magistrate and appeal before the learned Sessions Judge, the applicant was on bail.

4. On hearing the learned Counsel for the applicant and the learned Public Prosecutor for the respondents, the following order is passed : (i) The application is allowed.

(ii) The substantive sentence of imprisonment awarded to the applicant is suspended until further orders.

(iii)The applicant shall be released on bail on execution of a P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/-, with one solvent surety in the like amount.

(iv) The applicant shall deposit the total fine amount of Rs.2,500/- before the learned Magistrate.

(v) The bail bonds to be furnished before the learned Sessions Judge.
