This Writ Petition challenges an order passed by Deputy Collector and SDO, Panaji-Goa in a case under Section 6 of the Goa Land (Prohibition on Construction) Act, 1995 on the report submitted by Mamlatdar of Tiswadi Taluka about illegal encroachment on Government property by the petitioner. 2.

Learned Advocate General appearing for the respondent State informs the Court that Deputy Collector and SDO shall give a fresh hearing to the petitioner and pass a fresh order in accordance with law.

The impugned order of 10/07/2018 is accordingly quashed and set aside and the Deputy Collector and SDO, Tiswadi, Panaji-Goa is directed to rehear the petitioner and pass a fresh order in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from today. The petitioner shall appear before the Deputy Collector on 01/07/2019 at 11.00 a.m., when the schedule of hearings may be fixed by the latter. 4.
