By this Petition, the Petitioner has sought a direction to the Respondent-Panchayat to consider his application. The Respondent-Panchayat has not considered the application in view of the ad interim order passed in a group of matters i.e. SMWP No.2 of 2007 and others dealing with the issue of garbage disposal. 3.
By a separate order passed today, we have lifted the embargo placed on the Respondent-Panchayat subject to the order
2 wp780-18-27 -09-18 passed on 12 September 2018 in the group of matters. We have clarified that the permissions will have to be issued in accordance with the directions contained in the order dated 12 September 2018. 4.
The learned Counsel for the Respondent-Panchayat states that in view of the order passed today in the group of Petitions, the application of the Petitioner will be processed as per law and as per the directions contained in order dated 12 September 2018. We make it clear that we have not considered the merits of the application.

In view of the statement made by the learned Counsel appearing for the Village Panchayat, the learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the Petition, which is accordingly disposed of.
