This writ petition challenges a notice issued by the Committee of Administrators appointed under Section 67A of the Goa Cooperative Societies Act, 2001. The notice is objected to on various grounds including (i) the Administrators' overstaying their statutory period of appointment, (ii) subjects being included in the agenda which do not pertain to the mandate of the Committee of Administrators and (iii) the audit report prepared not being in accordance with law.

After the matter is heard at some length, learned counsel

2 WP578-19dt.08.07.2019 for the Petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to challenge the individual items in the agenda at the Annual General Body Meeting convened by the Committee of the Administrators. Learned counsel seeks leave to challenge any decision taken in this behalf by the Committee in accordance with law. The petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. All rights and contentions of the parties on merits are kept open.
