The grievance in this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is against the delay on the part of the respondent no.4 Assistant Director, Directorate of Enforcement, Panaji in not replying to the letter dated 12 March 2015 of respondent no.2 State Registrar, Government of Goa, Panaji Goa on the question as to whether any violation/confiscation cases are pending in respect of the petitioner or its directors or in respect of the properties mentioned in the draft sale deed submitted by the petitioner to respondent no.3 - Sub Registrar cum Civil Registrar of Pernem Goa in September, 2014.

2. We are of the opinion that it would be in the interest of justice to dispose of the petition by directing, and it is accordingly

WP/610/2015 directed that, respondent no.4 - Assistant Director, Directorate of Enforcement, Panaji shall send his reply to respondent no.2 State Registrar as expeditiously as possible and preferably within one month from the date of receipt of this order. After receiving the reply from respondent no.4, respondent nos.2 and 3 shall take necessary action in accordance with law expeditiously.

3. Liberty to apply in case of difficulty.

4. In view of the above directions, the petition stands accordingly disposed of.
