Learned Advocate appearing for the applicant prays for the suspension of the sentence and the release of the applicant on bail.

2. The learned Public Prosecutor on behalf of the State invited attention to the judgment of the learned JMFC pursuant to which the applicant was ordered to pay the total fine amount of ₹10,000/- in addition to the sentence of imprisonment for the respective offences under Section 354, 354-A and 509 of the IPC.

3. Shri Poulekar, learned Advocate appearing for the applicant submits that the applicant has been throughout on bail and prays for his release accordingly.

4. Considering the submissions of the learned Advocate and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and the fact that the applicant has been on bail throughout the proceedings before the Trial Court, the operation of the impugned judgment and sentence passed by the learned JMFC dated 24.02.2016 and confirmed in appeal by the judgment of the Appellate Court dated 17.07.2018 are stayed. The applicant is ordered to be enlarged on bail on executing the bail bonds in the amount of ₹10,000/- and furnish one local surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District Judge-1, Mapusa.

5. The application accordingly stands disposed off.

6. Authenticated copy of this order be issued to be parties in accordance with law.
