Heard Mr J.P. Mulgaonkar, learned Senior Advocate who appears along with Ms Asmita Tirodkar for the petitioner. Ms Akshata Bhat, learned Additional Government Advocate appears for respondent nos.1 to 4.

2. For the order that we propose to make no notice is necessary to respondent nos.5, 6 and 7. The petitioner's appeal bearing no.ADP-I/Pilerne-Marra/P.A.44/2022/1169 is pending before the Additional Director of Panchayats. Mr Mulgaonkar, on instructions, states that respondent nos.6 and 7 will be impleaded as respondents in this appeal. The statement is accepted. Such impleadment must be 28th November, 2023

WP 731 of 2023 allowed by the Additional Director of Panchayats.

3. Rather than this Court going into the issues raised in this petition and further since the petitioner has already availed of the alternate remedy under the Panchayat Raj Act, we dispose of this petition by directing the Additional Director to dispose of the petitioner's appeal no.ADP-I/Pilerne-Marra/P.A.44/2022/1169 on its own merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and in any case within three months from today.

4. All concerned to act on an authenticated copy of this order. This petition is disposed of in above terms without any order for costs. VALMIKI SA MENEZES, J.
