This application is filed for praying for modification of condition nos.(iii) and (iv), as incorporated in the order dated 7 December, 2020 passed by this Court in granting bail to the applicant. A modification of the following condition is sought for : (iii) The applicant should not leave the State of Goa, without prior permission of the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Mapusa.

05-CRMA-76-2022.DOC (iv) The applicant shall visit the jurisdictional police station twice a week, that is, on Monday and Thursday at 11.00 a.m."

I have heard the learned Counsel for the Applicant and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the Respondents-State. In my opinion, condition no.(iii) needs no modification and shall continue to operate. Insofar as condition no. (iv) is concerned, the same would stand modified as under :

"(iv) The applicant shall visit the jurisdictional police station once in a month on the fourth Sunday of every month at 11.00 a.m."

The order dated 7 December, 2020, accordingly stands modified to the extent of condition no. (iv) only. A Copy of this order be forwarded to the Additional Sessions Judge, Mapusa, as also learned Additional Public Prosecutor shall forward the same to the concerned Police Station.
