Mr. Kantak, learned Senior Advocate appearing for the Petitioners, on the basis of the instructions of the Petitioners through Advocate Mr. Gosavi states that the Petitioners will be satisfied if the Respondents treat the present petition as a representation and dispose of the same in accordance with law after taking into consideration the Petitioners' contentions raised therein.

2. The learned Advocate General who appears for the Respondents states that there would be no difficulty for the Respondents to accept the aforesaid suggestion. We accordingly

WP/706/2018 state that this petition will be considered as a representation and the same will be disposed of in accordance with law.

3. In view of the aforesaid, this petition is disposed of by directing the Respondents to treat the present petition as a representation and to dispose of the same in accordance with law on its own merits as expeditiously as possible.

4. It is made clear that this Court has not adverted to the merits of the matter or to the rival contentions and, therefore, it will be for the Respondents to decide the representation in accordance with law on its own merits.
