Leave is granted to amend the prayer clause by substituting the date of 24.04.2023 with 11.04.2022. Amendment to be carried out forthwith.

Petitioner's grievance is that his complaint dated 11.04.2022 has not been attended to by the second respondent i.e. the Village Panchayat of Santa Cruz.

Accordingly, we think that no notice is necessary to the respondents because we are only directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's complaint dated 11.04.2022 in accordance with law and on its own merits within 11th OCTOBER 2023

7-WP-626-23.DOC two months from the receipt of an authenticated copy of this order. Needless to add that if any adverse action is proposed, the Panchayat will comply with the principles of natural justice and fair play.

Te decision on the petitioner's complaint dated 11.04.2022 must be communicated to the petitioner within two months from the receipt of an authenticated copy of this order. 5.

We clarify that we have not examined the allegations in the petitioner's complaint because these are matters for the second respondent - Panchayat to examine in the first instance. All contentions of all parties are left open.

With the above directions, this petition is disposed of without any order for costs. All concerned to act on an authenticated copy of this order.
