Date:- 23rd September, 2019 ORAL ORDER:(Per M.S. Sonak,J.) Heard Mr. Vaze, learned Counsel for the petitioners and Mr. Manish Salkar, learned Government Advocate for the respondent Nos.1 and 2.

2. Taking into consideration the order which is proposed to be made in this petition, we do not think it is necessary to issue notice to the remaining respondents.

3. The grievance in the petition relates to the seniority list of Junior Scale Officers of the Goa Civil Services. Admittedly, the memorandum dated 21/02/2019 at page No.95 of this paper book

WP/785/2019 is only a tentative seniority list.

4. Accordingly, we direct the respondents No.1 and 2 to consider the present petition as the petitioners objection to this tentative seniority list. At the request of Mr. Vaze, learned Counsel for the petitioners, we also grant further time of four weeks to file any additional objections to the tentative seniority list dated 21/02/2019.

5. Thereafter, we accept the statement of Mr. Salkar, learned Government Advocate that the objections filed by the petitioners as well as others will be considered in accordance with law on their own merits and a final seniority list will be prepared and circulated within a period of 4 months from today.

6. We make it clear that if no further objections are filed by the petitioners within one month from today, the present petition is itself to be regarded as the objection on behalf of the petitioners to the tentative seniority list.

7. We make it clear that we have not adjudicated upon rival contentions inter se between the petitioners and the respondent No.4 to 54. All such objections and counter objections are to be decided by the respondents No.1 and 2 whilst preparing the tentative seniority list.

8. With the aforesaid directions, we dispose of this petition.
