Heard Mr. Agni, the learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Salkar, the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

2. The challenge in this petition was to certain terms of the notice inviting tenders as well as questioning the rejection of the technical bid submitted by the petitioner.

3. Mr. Salkar, the learned Government Advocate, on basis of instructions, states that a decision has been taken to cancel the entire tender process. He states that formal orders in this regard will be issued within a period of one week from today.

WP/626/2019 However, he states that he has firm instructions to make this statement which may be recorded by the Court.

4. In view of the aforesaid statement, obviously the reliefs in this petition, have been rendered infructuous.

5. The petition is accordingly disposed off as infructuous.

6. At the request of Mr. Agni, the learned Counsel for the petitioner, however we record that nothing in this order shall come in the way of the petitioner questioning the cancellation of the entire tender process or questioning the action of the respondents in placing orders upon third parties without inviting tenders.
