2. This is an application for withdrawal of the amount of compensation granted to the Applicant in Land Acquisition Case nos. 57 of 2000 and 163 of 2000. According to the Applicant, the Appeal filed by the Respondents bearing First Appeal nos. 278 of 2006 and 279 of 2006 were dismissed by this Court on 22.11.2011.
3. Ms. P. Kamat, learned Addl. Government Advocate appearing for
MCA/565/2015 the Respondents, upon instructions of the Officer of the Respondents, who is present in Court, namely Mr. Armstrong Fernandes, Assistant Engineer, S.D. IV, W.D. VI, Fatorda, has no objection to pay the amount of compensation deposited before this Court.
4. Hence, in view of the statement made by the learned Addl. Government Advocate appearing for the Respondents, the Registry is directed to pay to the Applicant, the amount of compensation together with interest accrued thereon on the deposited amount.
5. Application stands disposed off.
