Heard Shri Nigel Da Costa Frias, the learned Counsel for the petitioner.

2. The order challenged is dated 25/06/2015 by which the learned Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Quepem has refused to register the proposed Sadhana Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd., Caurem, Quepem, Goa.

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has an alternate remedy against the impugned order under Section 8 of the Goa Co-operative Societies Act before the Co-operative Tribunal and the petitioner intends to avail of the said remedy. The

WP/774/2015 learned Counsel, therefore, on instructions, seeks permission to withdraw the petition with a request that the appeal be directed to be decided expeditiously.

4. On hearing the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the petition is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed. In the event the petitioner files such an appeal, the Co-operative Tribunal shall decide it as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of three months from the date of its institution.

5. The contentions on merits are kept open. The Writ Petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
