The prayer in the Revision, is in sum and substance prayer under Section 147 of the N.I. Act.

2. Ms. Kakodkar for the Respondent, upon instructions, makes a statement that the entire compensation amount has been received by the Respondent-Society on account of which, she has no objection for compounding, in view of which, the request made for compounding is accepted and the matter is disposed of as compounded, however, subject to 15% of the cheque amount being deposited with the Goa State Legal Services Authority by 22.03.2024. In light of this, the conviction, sentence and fine imposed by the learned JMFC, as 18th March, 2024

WPCR 125 of 2023 confirmed by the learned Sessions Court in Appeal stands set aside. In case 15% of the cheque amount is not deposited, list the matter on 26.03.2024, for further orders.
