Heard Shri C. A. Ferreira, the learned counsel for the petitioners and Shri Faldessai, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the Respondents. The notice dated 8/8/2017, does not prima facie show that the learned magistrate has initiated proceedings under section 107 Cr.P.C.. Shri Faldesai, the learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, on instructions, states that the learned Magistrate has only called a meeting to discuss the situation and to preempt any untoward incident involving breach of peace, by way of amicable statement.

2. Shri Ferreira, the learned counsel for the petitioners, on instructions, states that the petitioners shall remain personally present on the date to be intimated by the respondent no.5 along

WPCR/144/2017 with their advocate.

3. It is evident that in the event the learned Magistrate intends to initiate any proceedings under section 107 of Cr.P.C, the petitioners shall be given adequate opportunity to file a reply. With this, the petition is disposed off.
