This is an application for pre-arrest bail.

2. The applicant is apprehending his arrest in connection with the investigation of Crime No.60/2017 with Police Station, Ponda, under Section 306 of Indian Penal Code (IPC). The learned Sessions Judge by an order dated 30/07/2018 has refused to grant the bail.

3. I have heard the learned Counsel for the applicant and the learned Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

4. Shri Rivankar, the learned Public Prosecutor on instructions from the Investigating Officer, who is present before the Court, states that the investigation is complete and the Investigating Officer does not need the custody of the applicant for the purposes of interrogation. Considering the fact that the

CRMAB/253/2018 investigation is complete and the specific statement by the Investigating Officer that the custody of the applicant is not necessary, the following order is passed:

ORDER

(i) In the event of his arrest in connection with the investigation of Crime No.60/2017, Police Station, Ponda, the applicant shall be released on bail on executing a P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/-, with one or two solvent sureties in the like amount.

(ii) The applicant shall remain present before the Investi- -gating Officer on 10/09/2018 between 10.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. and as and when required by the Investigating Officer.

(iii)The applicant shall not influence or tamper with the prosecution evidence or witnesses.

(iv) The application is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. C. V. BHADANG, J.
