Heard learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Counsel for the Respondents.

2. The challenge in this petition is in respect of the election of a Municipal Council pursuant to the election programme declared on 4 October 2010. Rule was issued and interim relief was refused. Term of the municipal council is five years. Therefore, two terms must have passed since the impugned election process was held. The petition therefore has become infructuous and is disposed of as such. Rule stands discharged.
