Heard Shri Vaz, the learned counsel for the Petitioners and Shri Mulgaonkar, the learned counsel for the respondent no.1. for some time.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners, on instructions, seeks permission to withdraw the petition with a request that the proceedings before the Rent Controller be expedited. Shri Mulgaonkar the learned counsel for respondent no.1 states that appropriate orders be passed.

3. In such circumstances, the petition is disposed of as withdrawn with no order as to costs. The application filed by the petitioner

WP/846/2015 before the Rent Controller is pending since the year 2004. In such circumstances, the trial Court shall decide the application filed by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably on or before 31/12/2017. Parties to co operate for the time bound disposal of the matter.
