This is an application for setting aside abatement. 2.

The writ petitioner, Mary Gomes, has passed away on 07.05.2021. Her legal representatives have applied for being substituted upon abatement being set aside.

Mr. Bhobe, learned advocate appearing for the respondent no.5 leaves the matter to the discretion of the Court. 4.

Having heard learned advocates for the parties and on perusal of the averments made in the application, we are satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown for setting aside abatement. The application stands allowed. The applicants shall be substituted in place of the deceased writ petitioner. Office to carry out the requisite amendment within two weeks. 5.

We find that Rule was issued on 04.11.2020. Let the respondents file their return of the Rule by four weeks. Rejoinder thereto, if any, may be filed by the substituted petitioners by two weeks thereafter.

List the writ petition for further consideration after summer vacation.
