On 13 June 2017, the Writ Petition filed by the Petitioner was disposed of by the following order.
"Heard Mr. D. Pangam, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. Dattaprasad Lawande, learned Advocate General appearing for the respondents.

During the course of hearing of the above petition, the learned Advocate General states that all the pensionary benefits and other dues payable to the petitioner shall be paid within four weeks from today.
3. Accepting the said statement, nothing further survives in the above petition. The petition stands disposed of accordingly.

Since it was not complied with the Contempt Petition was filed. The learned Additional Government Advocate tenders an apology on behalf of the Respondents and states that the principal amount due to the Petitioner has been paid on 9 July 2018 and places on record necessary slip for disbursement. We accept the apology and take a slip on record. The learned Additional Government Advocate, on instructions, from Santosh Fadte, Assistant Conservator of Forests, Ponda, who is present in the Court states that as regards the balance amount relating to the interest etc., will be disbursed to the Petitioner within a period of six weeks. This statement is accepted. The Contempt Petition is accordingly disposed of. Prithviraj K. Chavan, J. N.M. Jamdar, J.
