ORDER

1.

Heard Mr Suraj Naik, learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Advocate General appears along with Ms Maria Correia and Mr Prashil Arolkar, learned Additional Government Advocates for the respondents.

Considering the reliefs prayed for in this petition, we think it would be appropriate, at least in the first instance, if the petitioners' 3rd January 2024

12-WP-739-2023.doc representation for some service conditions are disposed of by the State Government.

Mr Naik points out that the petitioners have made individual representations. Therefore, it would be appropriate if this petition itself is treated as joint representation on behalf of all the petitioners and the same is disposed in accordance with law within six months from today.

Learned Advocate General states that the Secretary (Health), Government of Goa, will dispose of the representations within six months from today. The decision will be communicated to the petitioners within six months.

We have not gone into any of the grievances raised by the petitioners in this petition. Therefore, if the petitioners are aggrieved by the decision of the Secretary (Health), they are at liberty to take out such proceedings as they may be advised for redressal of their grievances.
