Having heard both sides, we believe we can conveniently dispose of the Petition in terms of proposed prayer (AA) by requiring the 2nd Respondent to decide the Petitioner's representation dated 4th July 2017 and to do so by 16th September 2017. The reason we request this to be done in such a short time is that the Petition relates to an idol or statue that is said to be required for the Navratri festivities commencing from 21st September 2017. 13th September 2017

The Petition is disposed of in these terms with liberty to the Petitioners to apply if the representation is refused. All contentions are kept open. The 2nd Respondent shall act on production of an authenticated copy of this order.
