Mr. Kamat, learned Counsel for the Petitioners, based on instructions from the Petitioners, seeks leave to withdraw this Petition with liberty to file a fresh Petition in case the Petitioners' representations for making a permanent allotment of the land now temporarily granted to the Panchayat, does not succeed.

2. Mr. Kamat states that the Petitioners would also represent to the Government for the reduction of rent. In case this representation is rejected, liberty may be granted to institute a fresh Petition. 21st February, 2024
