This is an application purportedly filed under section 14 of the Limitation Act r/w Section 151 of C.P.C. seeking exclusion of time spent in prosecuting a remedy before the District Court. The applicant had approached the District Court under section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, challenging the partial award dated 9/12/2015 passed at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre( SIAC). Ms. Princy Ponnan, the learned counsel for the applicant, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw the application as according to the applicant, the impugned award being a foreign award passed in a International

MCA/739/2018 Commercial Arbitration is not amenable to be challenged under section 34 of the Act and that too before this Court. In that view of the matter, the civil application is dismissed as withdrawn with no order as to costs. The registration of Stamp no.2634/2018 stands refused.
