Heard Mr. Sudin Usgaonkar, learned Senior Advocate along with Ms. Divya Parab, learned Advocate for the applicants and Mr. Shailendra G Bhobe, learned Public Prosecutor for the respondents. 2.

Vide order dated 11.10.2023, the applicants were granted protection with condition to report Old Goa Police Station and cooperate with Investigating Agency.

Similarly on 17.10.2023, this Court observed that notice was attempted to serve under Section 41-A of Cr.P.C. on the applicant. At that time it was informed to this Court that the applicant is ready and willing to attend police station. Accordingly, applicant was directed to attend police station on 18.10.2023. It is further reported that applicant attended police station on three occasions and co-operated with the Investigating Agency.

Mr. Bhobe, appearing for the State would submit that purpose would be served if the applicant is directed to attend police station daily for a period of 15 days and thereafter as and when called till the chargesheet is filed.

Mr. Usgaonkar would submit that applicant being a elderly person, it would be desirable to direct the applicants to attend police station twice a week and after a period of one month as and when called since the applicants are co-operating and attending the police station and even earlier notice was issued under Section 41-A of the Cr.P.C., custodial interrogation is not warranted and there is no possibility of the applicants absconding. In such circumstances, interim protection granted to the applicants stand confirmed. However, applicants shall attend the police station twice a week for a period of one month from today preferably on Tuesday and Thursday between 10.00 to 12.00 hours and shall co-operate with Investigating

Agency. After a period of one month from today, applicants shall attend police station and as and when called. 6.
