Heard Mr. Sardessai representing the Petitioners, the learned Additional Government Advocate representing Respondent Nos. 1 and 2, Mr. Fernandes representing the Panchayat and Mr. Naik representing Respondent No. 5. 2.
In compliance with the order passed by this Court dated 04.09.2024, an inspection is said to have been conducted by the Panchayat, whereupon a stop order notice has been issued to Respondent No. 5. An aidavit to that efect has been iled by Respondent No. 4 today, which is taken on record. 26th Sept. 2024

It has also been stated by the learned Counsel representing the Panchayat, on instructions received by him from the Secretary of the Panchayat, that relating to illegal construction which has been found on the site inspection, a show cause notice shall also be issued to Respondent No. 5 and the said show cause notice shall be adjudicated on receipt of reply from Respondent No. 5, whereupon the action which may be warranted under law shall also follow.
