By this petition, the petitioner has sought a direction to the respondents Authorities to take prompt action against respondent No.6, by issuing show cause notice to the said respondent, for carrying out
illegal construction in the suit property i.e. Survey Nos. 88/1, 2 and 3 of Village Sancoale, of Mormugao Taluka.

Learned Counsel appearing for respondent No.4 states that the Village Panchayat has already issued show cause notice to the respondent No.6. The respondent No.6, who is present in person, accepts acknowledgment of the said notice. Learned Counsel for respondent No.2, on instructions, states that respondent No.2 authority will also take steps and will issue a show cause notice to respondent No.6, within 4 weeks from today.

In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives for further consideration in the present petition, having regard to the relief sought by the petitioner. The petition is, accordingly, disposed of. It is made clear that we have not gone into the merits of the petition and as such, all contentions of all parties are kept open. 4.
It is expected that the authorities will dispose of the said show cause notices after giving opportunity to the respondent No.6. 5.
