Heard learned Counsel for the parties. In view of the order proposed to be passed, it is not necessary to issue notice to respondent No.2.

The main grievance of the petitioner is that the Respondent-Authority has not taken any action pursuant to the complaint made by the Petitioner on 18 October 2016. 3.
We are not inclined to go into the merits of the complaint of the Petitioner, however, we do observe that when a complaint is made by a citizen, it is expected that the Public Authority would take
2 wp834-17dt30-10-17 the complaint to its logical end as early as possible, as feasible within the administrative exigencies.

The learned Counsel for the Respondent-Authority submitted that the Respondent-Authority will take necessary steps pursuant to the complaint. Since the complaint is pending for more than a year, it is expected that the Respondent-Authority will initiated steps pursuant to the complaint, within a period of three weeks. It is needless to state any action proposed to be taken by the Respondent-Authority will be as per the procedure, law and principles of natural justice.

Keeping all contentions of the parties open, the writ petition is disposed of.
