The applicant has been convicted for the offences punishable under Sections 279, 337 and 304-A of IPC and has been sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for one month, on each count and to pay compensation of Rs.25,000/- on each count and in default to undergo simple imprisonment for 15 days, on each count. This judgement and order passed by the Trial Court has been confirmed by the learned Sessions Judge in appeal, which is the subject matter of challenge in this criminal revision application.

3. The criminal revision application is already admitted. The applicant was all along on bail before the Trial Court and before the Appellate Court. Considering the nature of the offences and the fact that the applicant was all along on bail, the following order is passed:

O R D E R

(a) The substantive sentence of imprisonment awarded to the applicant is suspended, pending disposal of the criminal revision application, on condition of the applicant furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/-, with one solvent surety in the like amount. (b) The applicant shall deposit the compensation of Rs.75,000/- before the learned Sessions Judge, within one week from today. (c) Bail Bonds to be furnished before the learned Sessions Judge. (d) Parties to act on an authenticated copy of this Order. C. V. BHADANG, J.
