The learned Counsel for the Respondents pointed out that all the Petitioners have now retired on superannuation and, therefore,

vinita 2 WP 634-11 dt -5.10.18 the issues raised in this petition have been rendered academic and also that the Apex Court upheld the appointment of the Respondents.

The petition was adjourned from time to time to ascertain whether any cause survives. Nothing is pointed out to us whether any effective relief can be granted to the Petitioners. Therefore, contention of the Respondents that issues raised in this petition does not survive will have to be accepted.
