Heard Mr. Ramaiya for the petitioner. The learned Advocate General appears along with Mr. Deep Shirodkar for respondent nos.1,2,4 to 6.

The learned Advocate General points out that as against the impugned revocation order dated 12.10.2022, the petitioner has remedy to institute a revision before the District Court under Section 201B of the Panchayat Raj Act. Upon examining this provision, we 5th December 2022

907-WP-557-2022.DOC are satisfied that the petitioner has an alternate efficacious remedy available under the Act.

Accordingly, we decline to entertain this petition but grant the petitioner liberty to avail of the alternate remedy under the Panchayat Raj Act.
