CRMA 119 of 2025 P.C.:

1. Registry to waive office objections and register the matter.

2. The Applicant submits that the entire compensation amount has been paid to the Respondent No.1 Co-operative Bank. The learned Advocate appearing for the Respondent No.1 submits that the Co-operative bank has no objection for compounding the offence. An endorsement to that effect has been made on the compounding application.

3. Additionally, an amount of Rs.19,500/- has been deposited with the Goa State Legal Services Authority in compliance with Judgment of Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Damodar S. Prabhu v/s. Sayed Babalal H.[2010(5) SC C 663)].

4. Consequently, the Applicant stands acquitted of the offence under Section 138 of which he was convicted by order dated 24.01.2019 in Criminal Case No. OA/257/NIA/2017/A before the JMFC, Vasco Da Gama. Criminal Revision application stands disposed of.
