Heard learned counsel for the parties on Civil Application No. 207 of 2016.

2. The reliefs claimed in the application are as under : "(a) The orders referred to hereinabove dated 13/01/2010, 14/1/2010, 25/02/09, 12/8/2014, 05/02/2016, 13/07/2016 and 17/08/2016 shall be subject to result of the Petition and whatever promotions to the post of Upper Division Clerk made in the Directorate of Social Welfare, Water Resources Department,

CA/207/2016 Office of State Registrar cum Head of Notary Services, Electricity Department, Directorate of Health Services, Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, Directorate of Accounts, Department of Forest, Town Planning Department, Department of Excise shall be subject to the result of the petition. (b) For an order of interim relief thereby directing the Respondents to pay the petitioners arrears of increment with effect from 31/12/2005 and to release yearly increments as per their entitlements to the petitioners."

3. In so far as prayer clause (a) is concerned, we direct that any promotion made during the pendency of this petition shall be subject to outcome of this petition. In so far as prayer clause (b) is concerned, we are of the view that this can be considered at the time of final hearing of the matter.
