Heard Shri R. Desai, learned counsel appearing for the applicant.

2. The applicant has been convicted under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and is directed to pay compensation of Rs.30,000/- in default to undergo simple imprisonment for one month.

2. The appeal preferred by the applicant before Sessions Judge, Margao Goa also came to be dismissed on 16.9.2017.

3. The applicant seeks his release on bail till the decision of the Revision Application. It is submitted that applicant has deposited Rs.20,000/- in the office of this Court by way of

CRMA/235/2017 demand draft. Photostat copy of the demand draft is tendered on record. The learned Counsel, upon instructions, undertakes to deposit balance amount of Rs.10,000/- today itself by cash. Office is directed to accept the said amount.

4. Upon depositing the balance amount of Rs.10,000/- the applicant be released on furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Registrar(Judicial).

5. Application stands disposed of.
