On hearing the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, we find that the case of the petitioner was considered for remission in the last meeting held in August 2017, in which inter alia on the ground of the report of the Superintendent of Police, the remission was not granted.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor pointed out that as per the Goa Prison Rules, the meeting is required to be held every six months and the case of the petitioner shall be considered in the next meeting.

3. In that view of the matter, no case is made out at this stage. Hence, we dispose of the petition.
