Te Petitioner is before us with a grievance that the order passed by the Deputy Collector on 19.03.2019 is not implemented.

We have perused the order dated 19.03.2019 where the Deputy Collector has issued certain directions. It cannot be that the Deputy Collector merely issues directions and does not take any interest in implementing it. Once the Deputy Collector has passed an order, it is his responsibility to ensure that the order is complied with and for that reason, the party need not come to 14 July 2023

904 WP 303 OF 2023.ODT the High Court for issuance of a writ. For such administrative failures, if writ petitions are filed, then this Court will be flooded with petitions merely to seek implementation of executive orders. 3.

By placing the responsibility on the Deputy Collector to seek implementation of his own order, unless interdicted by any contrary order of the superior authority, we dispose of the Writ Petition. We are informed that the incumbent is Mr. Raghuraj Arun Faldesai, Deputy Collector/Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO)/Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Ponda, Goa. BHARAT P. DESHPANDE, J.
