By this application, the Applicant is seeking further extension of two days in order to deposit the amount as per the land acquisition award.

In this matter, on an earlier occasion also, extension of time was granted. But, it is pointed out that since the amount is huge, it took sometime for approvals to be obtained and the cheque for the amount to be kept ready.

Along with the application, a photo copy of the Bankers Cheque for an amount of ₹ 2,42,20,000/-, has been annexed. 4.

For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed and the Applicant/Appellant is permitted to deposit the cheque in this Court within a period of two days from today.
