Heard Mr. Lotlikar, the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Advocate for the respondent no. 1, Mr. Naik, the learned Counsel for the respondent no. 2 and Mr. Teles, the learned Counsel for the respondent no. 3.

2. By consent of parties, the petition is disposed of in the following terms:- (a) The impugned order dated 25.07.2017, passed by the learned District Judge in Civil Revision Application No. 70/2015

WP/866/2017 and the Resolution No. 3(24) adopted in the meeting dated 15.05.2015 by the respondent no. 2-Village Panchayat, are hereby set aside.

(b) The respondent no. 3 shall file an application for cancellation of the house tax registration in the name of the petitioner afresh, before the respondent no. 2 within a period of one week from today.

(c) On such an application being filed, the respondent no. 2-Village Panchayat shall pass appropriate orders after hearing the petitioner and the respondent no. 3, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks thereafter.

(d) In the circumstances, there shall be no order as to costs. C. V. BHADANG, J.
