The relief in the above petition is for disqualification of the respondent nos. 2 and 3 in terms of Section 12(1)(d) of the Goa Panchayat Raj Act.

2. It is pointed out during the course of the hearing that in the meanwhile the term of the concerned respondents has elapsed and in fact, fresh elections have already taken place for the concerned panchayat. In such circumstances, the petition itself has become infructuous. The petition stands accordingly disposed of. Rule stands discharged accordingly. PRITHVIRAJ K. CHAVAN, J.
