This is an application for condonation of delay in filing the criminal revision application. The applicant has been convicted for the offence punishable under section 138 of N.I Act and has been sentenced to suffer simple imprisonment for a period for three months and to pay compensation of Rs.1,30,000/- and in default to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of three months. The judgment of conviction and sentence as rendered by the learned Magistrate has been confirmed by the learned Sessions Judge in appeal. According to the learned counsel for the applicant, the applicant was ailing and was admitted in the

CRMA/287/2018 Goa Medical College and could not take steps to file the revision application.

2. On hearing the learned counsel for the applicant and Shri Ramani, the learned counsel for the respondent and for the reasons mentioned in the application, the same is allowed.
