By this Petition, the Petitioner a non-government organization based in Ludhiana, Punjab sought direction to the Respondents to adhere to the BIS Standards in respect of the tender process for fixing Digital Meters on the Motor cabs.

Writ Petition bearing no.1175 of 2016 has been filed by Petitioner which is pending in this Court and various directions are issued in the said Petition. State Government has already issued a

vinita 2 pilwp33-18 dt -10.10.18 tender adhering to the BIS norms. The learned Advocate General further contends that the State will scrupulously adhere to the BIS standards.

The statement is accepted.

In view of this position, relief sought in this petition stands worked out.
