Heard Mr Amonkar for the Petitioner.

Prima facie, we are satisfied that the Petitioner is trying to harass his brother the 5th Respondent by filing various proceedings before various fora.

There is already a civil suit pending between the Petitioner and his brother i.e. the 5th Respondent. The Petitioner also tried to involve his mother and seek benefits under the legislations which are intended for the benefit of senior citizens. Now the Petitioner has filed some complaints 17th April 2024

903 WP-921-2023.DOC against the 5th Respondent urging action of revocation of his passport. 4.

These are purely civil disputes between brothers and the Petitioner has instituted this petition to pressurise the 5th Respondent. The extraordinary equitable jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution cannot be invoked by such petitioners for such purposes. 5.

Only because the 5th Respondent has not appeared before us, we refrain from imposing any costs. Otherwise, this is a fit case for dismissal with costs.
