We are informed by Ms. Alvares, the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the Goa Foundation that the judgment dated 24.07.2023 passed in PIL Writ Petition No. 15 of 2022 is assailed before the Apex 20th September, 2025

MCA 538 of 2023 Court by the State of Goa and by order dated 08.09.2025, the Supreme Court has directed the State to maintain status quo as on the date of its passing in respect of the areas directed to be notified as Tiger Reserve areas.

In the wake of this order, Ms. Alvares would submit that MCA No. 23 of 2024 shall be disposed of.

2. As far as MCA No. 538 of 2023 is concerned, which has been filed by the State seeking extension of time frame prescribed by the judgement and order dated 24.07.2023, even the same deserve disposal as the matter is now pending before the Apex Court on an Appeal filed by the State Government itself.

3. MCA No. 538 of 2023 along with MCA No. 23 of 2024 stand disposed of.
