The applicant was held liable to pay 50% of the compensation awarded as the drivers of both the vehicles were responsible for the accident. The applicant was, therefore, directed to deposit 50 % of the compensation granted as per the order dated 27/09/2018. Accordingly, the applicant has deposited the amount. Notice of this application was issued. However, none appears for the respondents, though served.

2. On hearing the learned Counsel for the applicant, the order dated 27/09/2018 is made absolute, which shall operate as interim relief during the pendency of the appeal.
