Heard Mr. Pai, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners, and Mr. S.D. Lotlikar, learned Advocate General appearing for the respondents No.1 to 3.

2. The only grievance of the petitioners is that an appeal preferred by the petitioners in respect of an application for mutation filed by the petitioners in the year 2012 before the learned Mamlatdar is pending decision before the Appellate Authority.

3. The learned Advocate General points out that such an appeal would be disposed of within six months from today.

4. Mr. Pai, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner states that considering that the mutation application was filed in the year 2012, further delay of six months would not at all be justified.

5. In the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, we dispose of this petition by directing the respondent No.2 to decide the pending appeal No.LRC/MUT/APL/BAR-11/04/2015 as expeditiously as possible and on or before 31st March, 2017.
