It is pointed out by Shri Nigel Da Costa Frias, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner that in the meanwhile the private respondents had preferred an appeal before the National Green Tribunal and status quo order is presently in operation.

2. As the matter is pending and order of status quo is presently in operation, we find that the present Contempt Petition would not survive and stands disposed off accordingly.

3. Needless to say that all the contentions of the parties are left open.

4. Rule stands discharged.
